In January of 2024 we purchased all new kitchen appliances from Costco. The GE dishwasher we purchased had a factory defect in the basket that caused a water leak and resulted in water damage to drywall, flooring, and a cabinet. GE/ Haier accepted liability for the damage due to the factory defect.

Right from the start we had difficulty working with GE/Haier’s third-party carrier for a damage claim. We spent almost a year going back and forth with GE/Haier’s third-party to cover the damages. They were willing to cover some of the damage, but there were other areas they were being quite unreasonable and difficult.

We were introduced to Brandon from GFR Public Adjusters from a contractor we were working with. Brandon and his team at GFR took over our claim and quickly worked to build our case and continued to work with Sedgwick for a resolution of our claim.

We ultimately ended up having to invoke our right to appraisal and after working with our hired appraiser and the insurance company’s hired appraiser we were finally able to get an acceptable outcome to our claim that included the items that Sedgwick was originally unwilling to cover.

We can’t say enough great things about the job Brandon and his team did for a very complicated claim. I would highly recommend Brandon and the team at GFR to anyone looking for assistance from a Public Adjuster.

We had an adjuster come out from our insurance company and we’re told our roof was in great shap still despite we had interior damage of water coming in to cause the Sheetrock to rot out and fall all over our stove. Every house around us had their roofs replaced as well. We were contacted by GFRA and they explained in great detail about what their services were and upfront about their cost. They immediately came out and did the inspection and two days later our claim was excepted. They are very Thorough with their inspections and customer service I highly recommend this company
